Channel 5 new online casino and bingo service

The UK economy may be experiencing a down turn but this has not stopped the UK online bingo and casino market from increasing in market size month on month. It is because of this growth that many large businesses in the UK are moving into the market.

Today it was announced that a new bingo and casino brand will be hitting the UK online bingo and casino market in the coming months. This brand is supported by a UK television company and a large online casino and bingo software company. The brands in question are Channel 5 and PartyGaming PLC.

Channel 5 is a terrestrial channel in the UK that commands an audience of around 30 million viewers every week making it a company that can really push this new online bingo and casino brand into a household name.

PartyGaming PLC is a large software business that had cornered the US market until the use of online casinos and similar products was outlawed in the United States. This law meant that PartyGaming PLC lost a huge 75% of its market share in software but this has not stopped the company from bouncing back by looking outside the US at other markets.

The new brand being built by Channel 5 will see PartyGaming PLC making a bespoke online bingo and casino software package specifically for Channel 5 that will be new and innovative for the market. Channel 5 believes they will easily be able to take ownership of the gap in the market left by ITV when it ended its agreement with PartGaming.

Unfortunately Channel 5 is keeping tight lipped about this new service and PartyGaming PLC will not say more than this new online casino and bingo service will not be released until later in the year. What we do know is that the online service will be branded with the “Five” brand name and that the channel will aggressively and extensively advertise this new service at its launch.

Channel 5 have said that they are looking to expand its digital presence both online and in the television world and sees the new “Five” casino and bingo service as the perfect springboard to cornering the market.

Many people who use online casino and bingo sites are really waiting in anticipation for the launch of this new service as it is believed it will revolutionize the Internet world. Only time will tell if this huge brand will make the anticipated impact that we expect.
